Calculation method explained
Enter a date, or leave the field blank for today. The calculator counts how many complete days of the month have passed before that date and divides by the number of days in that month. The 1st reads 0%, and the last day remains just below 100%.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the 1st shown as 0%?
The percentage counts complete days. On the 1st, no full day of the month has elapsed yet. The last day stays just under 100% for the same reason.
Does it handle different month lengths?
Yes. The calculator uses the actual number of days in that month: 28, 29, 30, or 31.
Can I use a past or future date?
Yes. Enter any valid date and the calculator shows where it falls within that month.
