How It Works

Formula

percentComplete=dayOfQuarter1daysInQuarter×100\text{percentComplete} = \frac{\text{dayOfQuarter} - 1}{\text{daysInQuarter}} \times 100

daysRemaining=daysInQuarterdayOfQuarter\text{daysRemaining} = \text{daysInQuarter} - \text{dayOfQuarter}

Variables, symbols and units

dayOfQuarter\text{dayOfQuarter}

Day number within the quarter (the first day = 1)

daysInQuarter\text{daysInQuarter}

Total days across the quarter’s three calendar months, usually 90-92
Calculation method explained

Enter a date, or leave the field blank for today. The calculator finds the calendar quarter containing that date, counts complete days already passed in the quarter, and divides by the quarter length.
