Day number within the quarter (the first day = 1)

daysInQuarter\text{daysInQuarter}

Total days across the quarter’s three calendar months, usually 90-92

Frequently Asked Questions

01Which months are in each quarter?
Calendar quarters only: Q1 is January-March, Q2 April-June, Q3 July-September, and Q4 October-December.
02Why is the first day shown as 0%?
The percentage counts complete days before the selected date. On the first day of the quarter, no full day has elapsed yet.
03Does this use fiscal quarters?
No. This calculator uses calendar quarters. Fiscal quarters that start in another month are not modeled.
